Robots are increasingly explored in new socially assistive roles, for example as instructors or educational agents for children in schools. In these demos, you will interact with a robot acting as an instructor helping you to complete a task.
As a part of the 100 years celebration of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences 3 ESRs presented the activity “Meet a robot instructor” with two demos:
1. Tower of Hanoi with NAO (Sebastian)
2. Creating a Storytelling Character with Furhat (Maha and Natalia).
The activities were presented to more than 200 high-school students from Sweden at the Tekniska Museet.
